After the events of book one: The Lost Elemental, Aura is still dealing with the aftermath of being the most powerful aether and the last of her line. Now she must deal with people who are desperate for her to be dead. I gave The Last Aether four stars, really enjoying the series thus far. I find that I enjoyed the development of Aura’s power in this second book and how each of the princes played a role in how Aura’s magic works. I loved that her relationship with Kai, Atlas, Phoenix, and Riven truly developed in this book
